    One distinction that I feel you didn’t make in the article:

    The snorkel on the top of the chassis doesn’t really ‘feed’ the rear wing directly. As in the article on the subject, the hole in the air box above the driver feeds the blown slot on the rear wing. The driver controlled F-vent adds additional air, over saturating the air from the air box, causing the rear wing to stall.
